If your tooth is knocked out you have 30 minutes to get to a dentist for the tooth to still be usable.

Pick your tooth up by the actual crown taking care to avoid the roots as this can damage our chances of reinserting it. Transport your tooth in the groove of your cheek or in a glass of milk.
